In February, MCAG Directors made the following decisions –
As the Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority Board:
There were no agenda items.
As the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County:
- Approved the Annual Transit Service Plan and Budget for FY 2009-2010
- Authorized start of Route 10X effective March 2, 2009
- Authorized staff to develop a Request for Proposals for the daily operation of THE BUS as the current contract expires on June 30, 2010. The Request will focus on splitting the fixed route and Dial-a-Ride services into two separate contracts.
As the MCAG Governing Board:
- Approved continuing to refer objectives of the Homeless Task Force to the Continuum of Care Executive Council for discussion and recommendations to the Governing Board.
- Moved to certify the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Atwater-Merced Expressway.
