2005 Priorities

Because of the need to present a united front, the group calls itself “One Voice”. While individual agencies and politicians have traveled to Washington to advocate for issues within their jurisdictions, this is Merced County’s first attempt at a united advocacy. MCAG was asked by its Governing Board to organize the One Voice legislative strategy. Over 30 county leaders met in a series of three workshops to discuss and prioritize issues.
