2021 FTIP

Per federal and state requirements, the federally-designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) must update the FTIP. The 2021 FTIP corresponds to projects and funding for the quadrennial period, FFY’s 2020/21 – 2023/24. Accompanying the 2021 FTIP is the Air Quality Conformity Analysis. The MPO will also need to perform an air quality conformity analysis and make a conformity finding for the FTIP based on air quality conformity regulations. Subsequently, the United States Department of Transportation must approve a conformity analysis and/or finding on the FTIP. Failure to meet air quality requirements could result in a lapse of federal funding.
